ZETEC Surface Eddy Current Probes
|
ZETEC provides
state-of-the-art eddy current array technology to
solve a myriad of complex surface inspections. These
probes have been used to inspect critical surfaces
and surface junctions on pipes, pressure vessels,
turbines, and other mission critical machinery parts.
Surface ECA probes can be categorized into two basic
configurations: flexible and rigid.
Flexible ECA probes are designed to form to a surface
and can be either stationary or moved across a surface.
Flexible ECA probes can be designed to conform to
something as simple as the outer and inner diameters
of a large pipe or as complicated as forming to
a complex 3-dimensional weld root.
Rigid ECA probes can be designed to fit the exact
shape of a surface. These probes can be clamped
to any extruded shape and be moved along it axially.
Alternatively, rigid ECA surface probes can be formed
to fit a consistent shape to provide an instant
snapshot of the surface. |
