Ultrasonic Couplant
Sonagel HT1
A thick translucent paste designed for ultrasonic
inspection up to 300oC. It is non-toxic,
environmentally safe, free of V.O.C.’s and
does not generate toxic fumes at elevated
temperatures. Sonagel HT1 is also available
in a number of different liquid viscosities. |
Sonagel O
A stable semi-transparent orange gel intended
for use as a replacement for mineral oils
and greases. Hydrocarbon based, Sonagel
O retains a gel state without causing corrosion
or drying on the test surface. Sonagel O
is suitable for all test surfaces and has
excellent wetting and acoustic properties.
The gel has a flash point of 175oC (PM)
and operates within the temperature range
-10oC to 160oC. |
Sonagel W
A stable, clear yellow gel specifically
designed for ultrasonic inspection.
Non-corrosive to most metals, non-toxic
and safe for the environment. Best suited
to solving the problems of rough, pitted
and uneven surfaces. Sonagel W is non-flammable
and operates within the temperature range
-10oC to 60oC. Sonagel W contains a unique
tracer dye to confirm removal with water,
alcohol or similar solvent. |
Sonagel WT
An odourless and colourless thixotropic
gel modified from the original Sonagel W
for particular applications. |
