Partnership Products
|
Via our strategic partnerships
with other leading companies in the field
of NDT we are able to offer our clients
access to the full spectrum of NDE solutions
that are available in the current market.
Automatic Corrosion Mapping Systems
The Inspection Solutions (Cymru) Ltd MultiScan
is a ruggedized PC based, remote operated
2-axis ultrasonic crawler designed to allow
cost-effective corrosion mapping inspection
to be undertaken on carbon steel pipe work,
above ground storage tanks, spheres, risers,
rigs, steelwork and shipping without the
need for costly scaffolding or rope access
services. |
Computer based Training Programmes
Sonatest are worldwide distributor for Simula’s
unique CD-ROM computer based training programmes.
These innovative multimedia products are
bursting with examples, simulations and
interactive animations. |
Manual Corrosion Mapping Systems
The ThetaScan scanner and c-scan imaging
software adds additional functionality to
the Sonatest range of Ultrasonic flaw detectors.
The addition of the ThetaScan system along
with a notebook PC enhances the capabilities
of the Sitescan and Masterscan flaw detectors
to produce a cost effective, state of the
art corrosion mapping system. |
Remote Inspection Systems
Remote Ultrasonic Storage Tank & Vessel
Scanner Scantech Instruments Inc., used
primarily for ultrasonic corrosion testing
of storage tanks, walls, and roofs to determine
the remaining thickness. A robust scanner
which is extremely manoeuvrable utilising
exceptional mechanical design to maintain
adherence to a tank wall. |
Ultrasonic Inspection Systems
UltraScan 5 is an ultrasonic inspection
and analysis system. The system includes:
An inspection scanner; A portable computer
with pulser/receiver and a high-speed converter
cards. The system includes four applications:
TOFD (time of flight diffraction) imaging,
thickness mapping, X-axis flaw mapping,
and Y-axis flaw mapping. The user interface
includes A-scan, B-scan, C-scan, signal
scope, real time miniscope. |
Ultrasonic Spectroscopy Systems
Ultraspec is a novel system for Ultrasonic
Spectroscopy developed by the Southern Research
Institute and licensed by Sonatest. It has
unique capabilities to address otherwise
impractical inspection applications such
as multi-layer bonded structures and quantification
of porosity or surface roughness from early
corrosion activity. |
UT Scanning Systems
The advantage of the ultrasonic testing
systems Sonatest offers is the flexibility
and individual nature of bespoke design,
providing customers with an exact match
for their requirements and creating a tailor
made automated solution to inspection needs.
Some users of manual methods of ultrasonic
testing may find they are less reliable
than automatic inspections, a lack of permanent
automatic records affects quality control
and higher levels of skill and continuous
attention required of the operator can lead
to mistakes in inspection. Sonatest can
address all these issues with their range
of ultrasonic testing equipment. |
Nodularity
Nodularity control is an extended practice
in cast iron plants manufacturing structural
components, aiming to measure the relative
percentages of grey and ductile iron into
a given part. Currently, the general practice
is a manual or automatic spot test with
oil coupling, but a much higher efficiency
and lower overall process cost is achieved
by using dry coupling, as performed by the
Autoscan 2400.
|
Cyclops
CYCLOPS is an automatic in-line system for
the inspection and evaluation of spot welds
via ultrasound, using artificial vision
for position control. |
Kodak NDT films
Kodak Industrex NDT films utilise the unique,
patented T-Grain emulsion technology which
gives superb image quality together with
rapid processing capability and a tough,
abrasion resistant surface. Available in
an extensive range of sizes and packaging
formats, including pre-packed envelopes
with or without lead screens. |
