The Sitescan delivers high performance and advanced features, yet our engineer's experience in user interface design has ensured it is easy and quick to use. The acknowledged ease of use of previous generation Sitescans has been enhanced with the menu navigation scroll-wheel, providing easy access to functions. The menu structure has been designed to guide the user through their task with operation quickly becoming second nature.

 | Single Element Wheel Probes
The single element wheel probe uses Sonatest NDTS rubber technology for near-dry Ultrasonic coupling. Using a single element 15mm immersion probe, the Single Element Wheel Probe is designed to operate between 1MHz and 10MHz and is available with a low pressure 38mm tyre (shown) and a higher pressure 25mm tyre. It is complete with an optical position encoder and can be connected to any conventional flaw detector such as the Sonatest MasterScan.
Array Wheel Probe
100mm array
For applications where very larger area coverage is required, the 100mm Array Wheel Probe is available. Due to its larger size it is best suited to flat horizontal components, but will scan curved parts too with a simple adjustment of the array angle.

The RapidScan3D is an innovative solution to the need for Ultrasonic NDT of modern engineering structures. Using high speed electronics, an ergonomic scanning arm, and a set of array probes based on patented technology, the RapidScan3D offers true 3D scanning at a fraction of the cost of contour following scanning gantries.
RapidScan3D works with the full range of scanning arms from Faro. RapidScan3D also offers the full capability of the RapidScan2. For existing RapidScan2 customers we offer an upgrade option to RapidScan3D.
